Airport and Flight to Madrid

On July 4, 2015, we all arrived at the airport at 2:50 at the wishbone in terminal D at DFW International Airport in our neon pink Ursuline shirts (it was pretty hard to miss us). Everybody gathered to take the official Ursuline trip picture and we said our final goodbyes to our families and friends.
It was going to be hard leaving our families and friends for two weeks, but we were all super excited for the journey that was ahead of us and just about to begin. Once we got through security we were ecstatic to get on the plane and finally start our journey to Spain, the trip we had all been looking forward to since the beginning of this year. While waiting to board the plane we got to watch the Holland v. Costa Rica soccer game go into penalty kicks and we also had a little extra time to get our last American snacks before we left!

We all boarded the plane and departed onto our 10 hour journey to Salamanca. After watching multiple movies a couple of tv shows and taking a very long nap we finally arrived in Madrid. The airport captured all of our attentions because of it's architecture and modern style.
Although we were in Madrid our final destination was still a drive away. So we all attentively and excitedly boarded the bus that would take us to our final destination, Salamanca.
Salados a todos nuestras familias!
