We began the day with clases at the University like every other day, but today was different than the past two days. In our culture class, we sang songs in the 4 languages of Spain. Everyone sang along and we had a great time! Next came tutoring hour, but for those who did not need this, there was time to go to the Plaza Mayor and eat Ice Cream or shop. Chelsea decided to eat ice cream but not without dropping the whole scoop on her foot. Nonetheless, she ate it anyway swearing that her feet were clean, but we were really skeptical. Next we returned to our homes for lunch with the family and a short nap to refresh ourselves for our evening cooking class. The cooking class was a blast. We made Gazpacho, Tortilla España, and torta. We all took turns cooking different dishes; and, as it turns out we are excellent cooks because the food was delisious! We even made the spanish flag out of foundant and put it on the torta. After class we said goodbye to the teachers and it was off to our houses for dinner. We finished off our evening watching the world cup semifinal between Argentina and The Netherlands in the Plaza while drinking café and eating churros. It was the best way to watch the world cup and finish off a busy day!
Below are some pictures and videos of our day.
